When Tomorrow Starts Without Me
When tomorrow starts without me and I’m not there to see…
If the sun should rise and find your eyes filled with tears for me…
I wish so much you wouldn’t cry the way you did today…
While thinking of the many things we didn’t get to say.
I know how much you love me as much as I love you…
And each time you think of me, I know you’ll miss me too.
But when tomorrow starts without me please try to understand
That Jesus came and called my name and took me by the hand,
And said my place was ready in heaven far above…
And that I’d had to leave behind all these I dearly love.
So when tomorrow starts without me, don’t think we are far apart.
For every time you think of me, I’m right here in your heart.
LaRosalind’s Spiritual Dedication
(written by David Ramon)
Rose for Rent – Yet Free
The rose was given that you might have a good day, today.
A Rose for rent, yet free.
I don’t understand you see?
Yes, the rose is for you to enjoy, No requirement,
payments, no obligations you see.
Free.
Yes, ,how can a person really be free in the pressured life-oh me!
Take the rose enjoy it friend, It’s for all the world to see.
Better yet, take the rose-enjoy it for an hour or two,
three or four, or a day.
Then give it away you see.
Yes, it’s in the giving and sharing. That’s when we break the
pressure, restore our calm and go our way with a
measure of happiness for a moment, for an hour or two
or a day or so.
We’ll feel so good, you see.
Yes, my friend, take the rose, it’s given just for your today.
Take the rose, keep it for an hour or two, a day or two, a day or
so, then pass it on to someone else.
Yes, even to a stranger you may see.
It’s in the giving, and sharing without obligation that the rent on
the rose is paid,
and that’s how we get set free.
Dasie Richmond’s Dedication
(written by M. Wallace Charles)
To Those I Love and Those Who Love Me
When I am gone release me and let me go,
I have so many things to see and do
You must not tie yourself to me with tears,
Just be happy that we had so many years.
I gave you my love, you can only guess
How much you gave me in happiness,
I thank you for the love you each have shown,
But now it’s time I travel alone.
So grieve a while for me, if grieve you must,
Then let your grief be comforted by trust,
It’s only for a while that we must part,
So bless the memories within your heart.
I won’t be far away, for life goes on,
So if you need me, call and I will come,
Though you can’t see or touch me, I’ll be near
And if you listen with your heart, you’ll hear
All of thy love around you, soft and clear.
And then, when you must come this way alone,
I’ll greet you with a smile, and a “Welcome Home”.
